The second annual Madrigal Dinner, “Medieval Knight” will take place at St Paul’s Episcopal Church, 413 South Second St, on December 7th beginning at 7pm. Tickets are $25 or three or more for $20 each. The ticket price includes a three course, banquet, mulled wine and cider, and of course the choir and Theatre Troupe of Saint Paul’s. Enjoy the medieval pageantry of the Royal Court, the fabulous costumes from the period, the antics of the Jester, the beggars and of course, the seller of Indulgences. The meal consists of authentic medieval recipes with a modern twist: vegetable barley soup, roasted root vegetables, chicken drumsticks, savory rabbit pie, pork loins with apple sauce, figgy pudding, syllabub and bramble and apple crisp. The mulled wine and hot cider is included in the ticket price, and there will also be beer and regular wine available.

What is the Mission of the Red Door Theater Troupe?
There is so much need on our community. The Red Door Theater Troupe was begun to respond to those needs. The Troupe seeks to aid community initiatives which require funding to further their missions. With the exception of show costs, proceeds from Red Door Theater Troupe productions are distributed to organizations and other entities which seek to address such issues as hunger, poverty, prevention of abuse, and homelessness in our community. The Troupe’s name is derived from the red doors found on Episcopal Churches everywhere…
